This mountainous super-century follows the same route at Stage 2 of the 2006 Tour of California. Options include with or without the killer Sierra Road climb. Starts at Orinda Community Park. Sponsored by Cherry City Cyclists of San Leandro.

Mile High Century

Mile High Century — June 16, 2007

This marks the 25th anniversary of the Lake Almanor Basin Indian Valley bike ride. Three options — 108, 56 and 33 miles — are available. All riders get an Elks Lodge spaghetti feed.

Sequoia Century

Sequoia Century — June 3, 2007

A fully supported 112-mile bike ride through the Santa Cruz Mountains. Sponsored by the Western Wheelers Bicycle Club of Palo Alto, it also features 31- and 62-mile options. The main route comprises 9,000 feet of climbing.

San Diego Century Bicycle Tour — May 19, 2007

A 102-, 65- and 37-mile bike ride options are included in this year’s Encinitas Sports and Fitness Festival. Bicyclists make their way up Dos Pico Peak on the century ride for a 30-mile descent to the finish. Sponsored by city of Encinitas.
